A new GTA 6 leak may have shown a weapon that has been absent from the series for 14 year. Fans have been waiting for Grand Theft Auto 6 for almost a decade, but Rockstar Games has yet to divulge much about it in an official capacity. It’s unknown when Rockstar will release GTA 6, but lots of information about the project has already leaked online.
GTA6 Leak: Chainsaws Returning After 14 Years?
Unfortunately for Rockstar, Grand Theft Auto 6 was the victim of a big leak that exposed a slew of information about the game. The leak corroborated prior rumor’s that the upcoming game will include both male and female characters. They would take place in Vice City. It exhibited early video of GTA 6’s open world action and provided fans a basic sense.
More Grand Theft Auto 6 information has now leaked online, courtesy of the LinkedIn profile of game developer Sayan Saha, a former Rockstar Games employee. Saha worked on multiple Grand Theft Auto projects at Rockstar Games, including Grand Theft Auto 6. In a now-deleted tweet, he claimed to have developed over 500 2D assets for Grand Theft Auto 6. Which includes “interior prop labels” for devices such as a fire extinguisher, chainsaw, electric board, boat motor, and automobile engine. While it’s conceivable that the player won’t be able to use the chainsaw.
Chainsaw Returns in GTA 6?
If chainsaws are indeed returning in Grand Theft Auto 6, as this leak implies, it will be the first time the weapon has appeared in a Grand Theft Auto game since Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars in 2009. For whatever reason, Rockstar did not add chainsaws in Grand Theft Auto 4 or Grand Theft Auto 5. However, given that Grand Theft Auto 6 is set in Vice City, it makes natural that the chainsaw will make a huge reappearance in the forthcoming game.

GTA: Vice City was the first game to include chainsaws as a viable weapon. It was utilised in one of the game’s most famous missions as a tribute to Scarface, one of the game’s main influences. This increases the likelihood that chainsaws will appear in Grand Theft Auto 6. Although the fact that they were referenced with “interior prop labels” might imply that they are merely things that players can observe but cannot use as weapons. Fans will have to wait for an official announcement from Rockstar Games to learn more about the weaponry available in Grand Theft Auto 6.
