20 Jobs That ChatGPT 4 Can Potentially Replace and AI’s Explanation

If ChatGPT wasn’t enough to keep pros up at night, now there’s GPT-4, the successor to GPT-3. It’s a smarter, faster, and more efficient language model than its predecessor. Not only is the GPT-4 smarter, but it’s also more confident and knows what it’s capable of, which the GPT-3 didn’t quite admit. When a user asked a GPT-4 based AI chatbot what activities it might replace in the future, the chatbot provided a long list of activities.

20 Jobs That ChatGPT 4 Can Replace

Twitter user Prashanth Ramaswamy asked GPT-4 to create a list of 20 jobs it could replace and rank them in order of substitutability with ChatGPT.

The jobs in the list are :

  • Customer Service Representative
  • Virtual Assistant
  • Social Media Manager
  • Email Marketer
  • Meeting Planner
  • Content Moderator
  • Recruiter
  • Travel Agent
  • Tech Support Analyst
  • Copywriter
  • Transcription Etc.

In addition to listing the professions it could replace, GPT-4 also identified specific human qualities it could emulate in those positions, such as: Fluent language, critical thinking, attention to detail and problem solving. For example, can be very quick and accurate, communicate and understand others’ feelings, pay attention to small details, seek and organize information, be good with numbers and languages, be creative and write well, analyze data and organize time well. However, it will still be very difficult for a chatbot to understand complex human emotions.

It should be noted that ChatGPT, based on the GPT-3 language model, previously refused to replace humans. While it can augment the work of human authors, it cannot replace them entirely.

“It is conceivable that the utilization of language models like ChatGPT could prompt changes in the gig market for content creators. However, it should be noted that these models cannot completely replace human typists. They can help with tasks like text generation, but they don’t have the ability to understand context and intent like humans.

Additionally, the ability to edit and curate content is always a valuable human skill. Therefore, using language models is more likely to improve content creators’ work than to replace them altogether,” the AI intelligence chatbot answered when inquired as to whether it could supplant human authors.

Solving skills that cannot be replicated with an AI program. The GPT-4 prediction is a reminder of the growing possibilities of artificial intelligence and the potential impact on the labor market.
